Naoko Ito's meticulously staged Urban Nature project addresses how the naturally occurring world & industrial worlds we create intersect. Preserved like specimens in glass jars, yet arranged in natural & graceful constructions, the branches feel somehow caught off-guard: wind-swept or striving toward light, suspended as though in a glistening man-made block of ice.

In Ito's words:
I feel like two dimensions is not enough for me to explain about myself or what I’m talking about, what I’m thinking about.

Anthony Goicolea's photographs feel like film stills, beautiful images which inspire both curiosity & an underlying feeling of dread. Cinematic & dream-like, slightly surreal with unsettling juxtapositions, they are narratives for mysterious stories in what Goicolea describes as "barely inhabitable worlds."

Tree, Line by Zander Olsen is a photographic series of an installation which plays with the viewer's perception of space, depth & relationships between objects.

according to Olsen:

This is an ongoing series of constructed photographs rooted in the forest. These works, carried out in Surrey, Hampshire and Wales,involve site specific interventions in the landscape, ‘wrapping’ trees with white material to construct a visual relationship between tree, not-tree and the line of horizon according to the camera’s viewpoint.
